Iran in Dar es Salaam celebrates its 34th anniversary of the Islamic revolution with pomp and prestige

IRAN has pursued a foreign policy of fostering good relations with its neighbours and under any circumstances whatsoever; it has not invaded any country at all.
These remarks were made in Dar es Salaam by his Excellency Mahdi Agha Jafari,  the honourable ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Tanzania on Saturday February 9th, 2013 to mark the 34th anniversary of the Islamic revolution of Iran.
Every 9th of February each year, Iran celebrates as a symbol of victory in which Iranian people, under the leadership of Imam Ayatullah Khomeini, overthrew the brutal regime of Shah Reza Pahlavi.
This was on 9th February, 1979 and the Islamic political system was established, which exists even today.

The grand occasion was held at the ambassador’s residence and was attended by heads of diplomatic missions based in Dar es Salaam, distinguished guests including the second phase president Sheikh Ally Hasan Mwinyi and Muslim clerics from local Islamic institutions as well as from abroad.
Ambassador Jafari, in his key note address said the Iranian revolution introduced to the entire world a pattern of democracy based on religious rule of the people.
He remarked: “Regarding domestic developments, Iran has grown up to be one of the pioneers of scientific and technological advancement and is now one of the leading countries in the world ranking tenth.”
He added that Iran is the 13th country to be ranked on scientific productions.

On Iran and Tanzania bilateral ties, ambassador Jafari reiterated his country’s readiness to advance it further and hopes the exchange programme to continue.
“Our bilateral ties between the two countries are historical and would continue to expand further in the years to come,” he said.
He said in the recent years there has been regular visits between high ranking government officials such as vice presidents and other senior government officials of the two brotherly countries.
Ambassador Jafari said Iran will continue placing Tanzania on its relations in a number of fields such as economic, culture and exchange programmes that benefit the people of the two respective countries.
