Women in Dar celebrate Women"s Day with a style

WOMEN entrepreneurs in the country have been urged to demonstrate their potential by indulging in business skills so as to excel in life.
The call to that effect was made by Dr Maria Idigo, the Power Team executive director when making her key note address to a function to celebrate Women's Day in Dar es Salaam on Saturday.
She said challenges should not be the obstacle in reaching those intended goals and objectives.
“Women have got potential expertise to do remarkable things to surprise even men of highest calibre,” she said.
She said the search for true happiness through concerted efforts and personal pursuit should be encouraged by every woman in the society.
According to her most women entrepreneurs have manged to alleviate poverty and now were living the life of their dreams.
She however warned that women were getting problems in securing collateral in borrowing money from financial institutions such as banks etc, that hindered their businesses to grow.
